About the Commission
The Nebraska Public Service Commission regulates telecommunications carriers, jurisdictional natural gas utilities, major oil pipelines, household goods movers and passenger carriers, grain warehouses and dealers, the construction of manufactured and modular homes and recreational vehicles, and private water company rates.
The Commission also has limited regulatory oversight related to railroad safety and the construction of high-voltage electric transmission lines in Nebraska.
