FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

                  PSC NUSF-92 PROGRAM SUPPORTS
                    CELL TOWER CONSTRUCTION

Lincoln, October 4, 2024- The Nebraska Public Service
Commission (PSC) has approved nearly $5.5 million in
funding (NUSF-92.64) for the construction of 10 cellular
towers through the Nebraska Universal Service Fund
(NUSF) Dedicated Wireless Fund Program.

“Utilizing the Nebraska Universal Service Fund for the support
and buildout of cell towers has proven to be yet another
avenue the Commission employs to help improve
communication to unserved and underserved areas,” said
Commission Chair Dan Watermeier.

UScellular will receive $5,493,500 in grant funding support to
build 10 tower sites near the communities of Bancroft,
Bradshaw, Clearwater, Garland, Glenvil, Orleans, Page,
Plymouth, Rising City and Sterling. UScellular has committed
to completing construction of the towers within 24 months of
approval of the funding.

The PSC allocated just over seven million dollars in Wireless
Fund Program Support for the 2024 funding year. The
remaining dedicated support allocated but not awarded will
be rolled into the next wireless fund grant cycle. ###
