PSC to Hold Workshop on Classifications of Passenger Carriers
Lincoln, April 3, 2018 – On Tuesday, April 10, the Nebraska Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold a workshop to investigate whether additional passenger carrier classifications should be added to accommodate the potential for additional carriers to enter the market.
“This workshop will allow us the opportunity to hear from passenger carriers on whether the current classifications are meeting their needs,” said Jamie Reyes, Transportation Department Director.
The workshop will allow the Commission to explore what, if any changes to passenger carrier service classifications may be required to meet current and future needs of the industry.
Commissioners approved an Order setting the workshop beginning at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 10. The workshop will be held in the Commission Hearing Room, 1200 N Street, Suite 300, Lincoln, NE. A telephone bridge (listen-only) will be made available for the convenience of individuals who cannot attend in person. The call-in number for the phone bridge is (888)820-1398, attendee code 5582059#.
Dir. Reyes said, “We encourage industry representatives to participate and look forward to hearing what they have to say.” ###
