Lincoln, February 16, 2023- Cullen Robbins, the Director of
the Nebraska Public Service Commission’s
Telecommunications/NUSF Department has been honored
with the National Association of Regulatory Utility
Commissioners (NARUC) Ray Baum Award.
“This is a well-deserved honor,” said Vice Chair,
Commissioner Tim Schram. “Not only has Cullen proven
to be vital to the Commission’s efforts to bring advanced
telecommunications and broadband services to Nebraska,
on a national level he has played a key role in helping to
create some of the most advance communications policies
in the country.”
In its fourth year, the award was created to honor the

Robbins said, “I am extremely humbled and honored to
receive this award. While I never had the pleasure of meeting
Ray, his legacy is still very much felt throughout NARUC’s
policies and processes.”
NARUC President Michael Caron of Connecticut presented
the award to Robbins during NARCU’s 2023 Winter Policy
Summit held in Washington D.C. ###
