PSC Honors Bertram With Excellence In Leadership Award

           PSC Honors Bertram with Excellence in
                           Leadership Award

Lincoln, November 15, 2021 – The Nebraska Public Service
Commission (PSC) is pleased to honor Deborah Bertram,
Administrative Secretary/Receptionist with its 2021
Governor’s Excellence in Leadership Award.

A long-time state employee Bertram has greeted visitors
to the Commission since 2019. During the early stages of
the COVID-19 pandemic she was instrumental in helping
to develop and implement paperless processes on the fly
aiding the agency in its transition to a remote working
environment. Her willingness to be a presence in the office
along with her positive, friendly and helpful attitude make
her a great resource as she supports Commission
departments with administrative duties.

“Deborah is remarkably reliable, diligent and has an
impeccable work ethic,” said PSC Deputy Director Suzie
Hinzman. “She excels at assisting our internal customers
and is always willing to devote time and attention to special
projects, establishing herself as an essential employee and
a true asset to the agency.”

The 2021 Governor’s Excellence in Leadership Award
recipients were honored on Monday, November 15, during
a reception at the Governor’s residence. ###
