Implementation of Next Generation 911
Lincoln, Monday, February 14, 2022 – On Wednesday, February 16,
the Nebraska Public Service Commission in conjunction with the
South-Central/Panhandle Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP)
Region will hold a news conference to announce a major milestone
in the implementation phase of Next Generation 911 in Nebraska.
The media is invited to attend the news conference which will be
held beginning at 10:00 a.m., at the Buffalo County Law
Enforcement Center, 2025 A Avenue, in Kearney.
The event will focus on the migration of the first Public Safety
Answering Point (PSAP) region to the Nebraska Next Generation
911 Service System. A news release will be issued following the
news conference. ###
