Formal Hearing on Black Hills Energy Rate Case to Start on October 28

Formal Hearing IN Black Hills Energy Rate Case
to Start on October 28
Lincoln, October 23, 2020 – The Nebraska Public Service
Commission will hold a formal hearing in the Black Hills
Energy Rate Case ((NG-109) beginning at 1:00 p.m.,
Wednesday, October 28, in the Commission hearing room
and online.
The hearing, which was previously scheduled to start on
October 26, will now take place October 28-30. Details on
participation can be found on theCommission Calendar
on the on the PSC website.
On June 1, 2020, Black Hills Energy filed an application with
the PSC seeking a $17.5 million general rate increase. The
proposal will increase Black Hills’ fixed customer charges and
distribution charges, the rates regulated by the Commission.
Evidence from the company, the Public Advocate and the
other parties will be presented during the formal hearing.
